Inspired by Art

 

Art is an outward expression of an individuals imagination by using artistic and creative expression. Art can be used for inspiration in many ways. It can inspire us to go on and do better things.

Art can inspire us to become creators of buildings, new businesses, new sculptures, new designs. Then art can inspire us to design something that brings happiness and fulfillment to others through avenues of artistic expression. You can design clothes, great architecture, jewelry, new dishware, furniture, etc... Art brings out creative juices from the artist imagination which encourages new pieces of visual or performing works.

Art can inspire us to be the best we can in life. We may look at a painting and see a ballerina, a doctor, a singer. Art can inspire us to try new things such as travel the great seas or fly across the oceans to new lands. Please enjoy my art at Art Design by TK.

Heavenly Father Poem

God, you taught me lots throughout the years,
You held me tight and calmed my fears,
You gave me love more than I can tell,
You raised me up when I fell,
You taught me through your word to adore,
You supplied all my needs and gave me more,
You gave me things I didn’t deserve,
Even when the Lord, I didn’t serve.
You guarded me, when I was sick,
You healed my body pretty quick,
You kept me safe and sound for years,
You helped me overcome my fears.
You kept me busy by giving me hard work to do,
So I wouldn’t serve sin, but to you I would stay true,
You taught me how to give,
You gave me the best life I could live.
You taught me about heaven and hell,
You did so much for me that words cannot tell.
I love you and thank you for all you do,
You loved me even when to you, I wasn't true.
Because you were always there for me,
You are the best God, that you can be.

Poem: Salvation Came to Me

 

Made many mistakes in this life,
Tried to do some good deeds,
Such as be a good wife,
And a faithful Christian too.

Learning to lean on Jesus more,
As the days passed on before me.
Spreading love to the feeble and poor,
Planting seeds of kindness to some.

I'm not perfect in no account,
Many sins came from within me,
Too many for me to count,
But the Lords Salvation came to me.

There wasn't anything that I could do,
Not earning a thing, only trusting in the Lord,
Asking forgiveness with some repentance too,
Then telling others about the gospel of Jesus.

I thought I could do a lot on my own,
Then trials and tribulations came to me,
Only with Humility I could ever atone,
Learning pride was not of the Lord.

Jesus seeks those of a humble heart,
Those who are meek and slow to speak.
For these things we know in part,
By reading his glorious word.

Forgetting not to share the good news,
That Jesus came that we could have life,
A free gift, not of earthy dues,
An eternal home in Heaven up above.

Compassion

 
What is this thing
that opens our hearts to others
Choosing to be caring
when others walk on by.

What is this thing
that resembles something of love
showing pity and kindness it brings
when nothing else can suffice.

It is giving food to a stranger,
stopping when someones hurt
Removing them from danger
Lending an ear or shoulder to cry

Jesus helped those in need
full of compassion for others
Showing many a thoughtful deed
An example for all to see

Love of the Savior

He chose his only body as a sacrifice,
No other lamb would suffice.

Redemption came from our Savior,
Without him is no judgment waver.
Tears and joy were shed that early morn,
For with him all men can be reborn.
Death couldnt hold in the grave,
Only Jesus Christ can save.

Its Harvest Time

From sky to stream and flowers that bloom,
Your presence everywhere I see.
A God of beauty from above,
Far above the highest tree.

When the wheat is gathered from the tares,
Your lovely face I'll see,
Sitting upon your throne in glory.
Your holiness will set me free.

You said the harvest  is great,
For we have work to bear,
Before the reapers work is done,
In the heat of the noon-days glare.

Today the morning is bright and fair,
Time to spread God's word,
The harvest is truly coming,
When the stillness of the night is heard.

One Christmas Morn

In a lowly stable, Jesus was born,
With the angels close by,

Early that Christmas morn,
They sung praises to the king.

Oh what a gift to give,
than your only begotten son.
So others one day can live,
free from all their sins.
Jesus was born in a humble stable,
the Bible tells us the story.
It is not some made up fable,
But the truth of God’s word.

As a child of the King,
sing unto the Lord a new song,
With all your heart, you should sing,
To show praises to the Savior.

Jesus, son of God, light and King,
in Heaven the choir will sing.

Praises to the Shepherd and Lord,

With worship and voice in one accord.

Are you a 'IF' Christian

Today I heard a sermon by Dr. Martin Luther King on the “If” Christian.  The “If’  Christian is one who has decided to follow Christ only when everything runs smoothly.  They are willing to serve Jesus Christ when it is easy and considered the “In” thing.  Often they bargain with God and agree to follow him “If” everything is easy; if they don’t have to endure sufferings or persecution.  They follow the Lord when it makes sense for them; if they receive something in return, such as: a good job, a nice family, plenty of money and great health. When bad things start to happen to them, then their faith is tested.  They do not want to do anything that will make their life uneasy.  They don’t want to lose friends, family or their great lifestyle, so they often compromise on their beliefs.  They choose to be silent when people oppose their beliefs or their faith.  Dr. Martin Luther King wasn’t a “If” Christian but a minister who stood against those laws that were evil.
In this sermon, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr preached on three Christians that refused to bow down and worship the image of gold.  Daniel Chapter three tells us that Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego stood against the evil of the land.  They had a faith greater than that of man.  They believed on the God above and took a stand against King Nebuchadnezzar and his law.  They knew that God would deliver them out of fiery furnace that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up.  They said, “If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.”

Their faith was deep enough and real enough that nothing was going to compromise their faith; nothing was going to get them to forsake their true God for a false god.  They had enough faith that they trusted in God to deliver them; but if not, they would die with their faith intact.  What about you?  Are you willing to take a stand against injustice or evil laws.  They are coming and coming soon.  We have a president that is writing his own laws.  We have a Roman Pope that is writing and changing laws into what is evil.  Hitler changed laws and they were considered the law of the land.  Are you willing to die for your belief in God?  Are you willing to stand up against those things you know God hates?
Judge Roy Moore of Alabama is taking a stand against “gay marriage” in Alabama.  He says that his God is against it and he will not support anything that his God is against.  He is willing to lose his job, where he was making a lot of money and held for years, for his beliefs.  He is willing to take a stand against evil in this land; which shows his faith.  He doesn’t have a “If” faith but a true faith in God.  He is suffering persecution now and has in the past, when he lost his job for refusing to take down the “Ten commandments” statue.
Soon there is coming a law that will require everyone to bow down and worship an “image of the beast.”  One will be required to take a mark in their right hand or forehead in order to buy or sell (Revelation 13).  Those that refuse to take the mark or worship the image will suffer on this earth.  They will be persecuted, perhaps thrown in prison for their refusal.  Those that worship the beast or take his mark will receive judgment of God (Revelation 20).
Jesus told us that we might have to face persecution and sufferings of this life, but he said he would never leave us or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5).  God will walk with you and will help you in everything you do.  You do not have to walk alone.  You can trust in the Almighty God and believe on his son, Jesus Christ. If you are a Christian, God promised you eternal life (John 5:24).  If you are not, I urge you to accept Christ before it is too late.

Giving of Thanks

 

Let us all give God thanks for all that he has done for us, especially during this Thanksgiving holiday season.  1 Thessalonians 5:18 says, In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 

Psalm 92:1 says,  It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High:

Psalm 118:29 says,  O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
