What does a Day Mean To You?

A friend of mine is dying of cancer.  A dreadful disease.  Her daughter recently posted: "What would you do if you only had a few weeks left."  That is a good question.  Would you focus on building your income?  Would you visit someone that you haven't seen in a while?  Would you pray to the Lord and ask him to forgive you of your sins? 
In a fast pace human race, many people go on with their lives, working at their jobs, going to the movies, partying at nightclubs, stealing, using drugs, and for what.  What does one day mean to you?  If you could undo something that you have done in your past, what would it be?  Would you unsay something to someone that was hurtful, would you have finished school instead of quitting, would you have never gotten a tattoo.  Many of us think that we will live forever.  I know for a fact that we do not.  I work in a nursing home and see many people die as older people, but there a few that are younger.
I've seen young men that should be out living their lives, laying in a bed paralyzed because they had a car wreck from drinking and driving.  What does a day really mean to you?  I'm posting this because I want you to realize what you do in this life matters.  Think before you act.
