Southern humor

Southerners pronounce all one-syllable words as if they had two syllable.
When giving directions, they finish with "it's right down yonder on the left."
They refer to every soft drink as a "Coke."
They address their children by their first AND middle names. (e.g. Lisa Marie, John Michael, Jim Bob, etc. . . .)
They pronounce certain words different. For example: "Pah-kahn" not "Pee-can", or Tamater instead of to ma toe.
They use the word "reckon" in a sentence, such as I reckon.
They say Mash" buttons. "Cut off" lights. "Carry" the kids to school.
They say fixin' to do" something, instead of going to do something.
They say bard instead of borrow. or my house is on far, not fire.
They say retard instead of he retired. Say tire instead of tower.
They say give me a pin instead of pen or I found a pinny instead of penny.
