Redeeming The Time

Today we need to redeem the time, for Jesus coming is near.  In 1 Thessalonians 4:16, says that the Lord will descend from heaven with a shout and call his children home to Heaven.  In Titus 2:13, tells us to look for the appearing of our great God and of our savior Jesus Christ.
The Lord is not long suffering toward us, but waiting for all to come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9. 

“BUT THE DAY OF THE LORD WILL COME AS A THIEF IN THE NIGHT; IN THE WHICH THE HEAVENS SHALL PASS AWAY WITH A GREAT NOISE, AND THE ELEMENTS SHALL MELT WITH FERVENT HEAT, THE EARTH ALSO AND THE WORKS THAT ARE THEREIN SHALL BE BURNED UP”. 2 Peter 3:13 tells us that we will have a new heaven and a new earth. We should prepare ourselves that we be found without spot and blameless.

Grow in knowledge of the Lord and keep yourself from the evil that is before you.  For this day in age, evil is all around us.  We have to be on guard and watch what we say and do.  For God the father knows everything we do and say.  Ask for God's forgiveness today and he will make you part of his family.  2 Corinthians 6:2 says, Behold, Now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

In the last days, there are going to be mockers of God, those who try to convert Christians, those that walk in evil, after ungodly lust.  Today, sin is masked.  It appears to be glamorous and desirable.  We have to be aware of sin.  A lot of times it does not represent itself as evil or in a bad way. The best thing you can do is find a church to go to and meditate upon God's word daily.

IN 1 CORINTHIANS 2:9, THE BIBLE SAYS, “EYE HATH NOT SEEN, NOR EAR HEARD, NEITHER HAVE ENTERED INTO THE HEART OF MAN, THE THINGS THAT GOD HATH PREPARED FOR THEM THAT LOVE HIM”. We can read more about some of the things God has prepared for us in his book, The Bible.

WHEN YOU BECOME A CHILD OF GOD,
THE HOLY SPIRIT LIVES WITHIN YOU.
ALLOW THE HOLY SPIRIT TO WORK,
BY DENYING YOUR FLESH IN WHAT YOU DO.
YOU MUST TAKE UP YOUR CROSS DAILY
PUTTING OFF THE FLESHLY SPIRIT,
TURNING AWAY FROM LUST AND YOUR NEEDS,
AND BY PUTTING ON THE HOLY SPIRIT.
PRACTICE TO BE THE FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT,
SUCH AS JOY, FAITH, PEACE AND LOVE,
GENTLENESS, MEEKNESS, TEMPERANCE,
GOODNESS AND THINGS FROM ABOVE.
PUT ON SELF CONTROL, WHICH IS TEMPERANCE,
SEPARATE YOURSELF FROM THINGS THAT ARE WRONG,
READ YOUR BIBLE, PRAY, AND GO TO CHURCH,
FIND A PLACE WHERE YOU BELONG.
CASTING ALL YOUR CARE UPON HIM
FOR JESUS CARES ABOUT YOU,
TEACH OTHERS TO HAVE VIRTUE, PATIENCE, AND LOVE,
CHARITY, GODLINESS, AND BROTHERLY KINDNESS TOO.
