God’s commandments

Commandments are given to teach us right from wrong,
They are listed throughout the Bible,
Therefore, for each sin and wrongful offence,
Man will one day be held libel.
So glorify the lord and do not commit sin,
Sin is knowing to do good, and doing it not,
But Jesus commended his love for us,
For with his own blood, with a price we are bought.
The ten commandments were given,
as a standard of the law,
for its words are sharp and powerful,
The Christian, God will one day call.
